I'm Ashlin and I am based out of Kansas City.

I'm always looking for an interesting and informative way to tell stories, whether that be daily melancholy, or one off heightened experiences. Romantic, or dreadful. There is always something going on and I want to show the world how I see and hopefully allow that to affect people.

I have shot for Missouri State University as a sports photography, with the NEKC Chamber of Commerce to tell stories of local businesses and their organization, and have done commissioned and freelance work for a variety of clients (art still lives, product photography, interiors, wedding photography, and portraiture to name a few). All that is fine and dandy, but please let my work speak.

A little bit about myself. I was born in Hong Kong and lived there until I was about nine years old. I moved to the States with my family and have jumped around quite a bit. The experiences and changes throughout my life have provided me with an understanding towards others. I have always disliked aspects of my past but I think it has only allowed me to thrive in discomfort. I long to reveal truth and am always looking for ways do so.

If you know of any leads or stories that should be showed, I am all ears. If you are a business or individual who wants your story told, whether that be a wedding day, an artist's work flow, the day to day at your establishment, I would love to sit down and listen to your passions and experiences and hopefully work with you. I believe the best way to tell a story is to be a part of the story, and the only way to do that is to build relationships.
